BJP's Delhi Manifesto: A Game-Changer for Women and Families
Delhi - In a bold move ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has unveiled a manifesto brimming with promises aimed at uplifting women, families, and the underprivileged.
Empowering Women with Financial Support
Central to the BJP's strategy is the Mahila Samridhi Yojana, which proposes a monthly aid of ₹2,500 to every woman in Delhi. This initiative seeks to provide financial independence and bolster women's economic status. Additionally, under the Matru Suraksha Vandana scheme, pregnant women are promised ₹21,000, along with six nutrition kits, to support maternal health.
Subsidies and Freebies: A Strategic Move
The manifesto also includes a ₹500 subsidy on LPG cylinders for families, with an extra free cylinder provided during the festivals of Holi and Diwali. This move aims to alleviate household expenses and resonate with voters during festive seasons.
Healthcare and Welfare Initiatives
In the healthcare sector, the BJP plans to fully implement the Ayushman Bharat scheme in Delhi, offering an additional ₹5 lakh insurance coverage per family. This initiative seeks to enhance healthcare accessibility and affordability for Delhi's residents.
