FIITJEE in Crisis: Coaching Giant Faces Allegations and Shutdowns

Delhi - In an unexpected move, FIITJEE, a premier coaching institute, has closed multiple centers across India, including Noida and other major cities. Thousands of students preparing for competitive exams like JEE and NEET have been left stranded, with no clarity on their academic future. Parents and students are now scrambling to find alternatives while seeking answers from the institute.  

Legal Trouble Mounts

An FIR has been lodged against FIITJEE’s founder, D.K. Goel, and eight others for alleged cheating and breach of trust. Parents have accused the institute of collecting large sums in fees only to abruptly cease operations. The legal battle is gaining momentum as authorities investigate claims of unregistered centers, financial misconduct, and lack of transparency.  

Mass Resignation of Faculty

The crisis deepened with the resignation of the entire staff at the Noida branch. Faculty members, reportedly unpaid for months, left en masse, joining rival coaching centers. This mass departure not only disrupted classes but also raised questions about the institute’s internal management and financial stability.  

Parents Demand Accountability

Parents have expressed outrage over the sudden closure, accusing the institute of failing their children. With board exams and competitive tests approaching, they fear the impact on their children’s futures. Protests and demands for refunds are growing louder, putting further pressure on the FIITJEE management.
