Ghaziabad Fire Horror as Exploding Gas Cylinders Turn Night Into Chaos

Uttar Pradesh - In the pre-dawn hours of February 1, 2025, Ghaziabad was jolted awake by a series of deafening explosions that illuminated the night sky. A truck carrying LPG cylinders caught fire at Bhopura Chowk on Delhi-Wazirabad Road, leading to a catastrophic chain of blasts that wreaked havoc in the area.  

The fire was so intense that firefighters initially found it impossible to approach the vehicle, as cylinders continued to explode, sending fiery projectiles in all directions. The relentless blasts shattered the silence of the night, with the sounds echoing for kilometers and instilling fear among residents.  

A local resident described the terrifying ordeal: "We suddenly heard loud explosions around 3:30 am. We rushed out with our children. Cylinders were flying through the air, damaging our house, car windows, terrace grills, and shop shutters."  

Miraculously, despite extensive property damage—including homes, vehicles, a wooden warehouse, and a nearby hotel—there were no reported casualties or injuries. Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire, but the incident has left the community in shock.
