Scandal Unfolds: Urvashi Rautela Cancels Podcast Amidst Ranveer Allahbadia India Got Latent Debacle

Mumbai - In a dramatic turn of events, actress Urvashi Rautela has withdrawn from her scheduled appearance on Ranveer Allahbadia's popular podcast, BeerBiceps, following a recent controversy that has sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry.  

The uproar began when Allahbadia, during an episode of India's Got Latent, posed an inappropriate and offensive question to a contestant. The remark ignited widespread condemnation from both the public and industry peers. Prominent figures criticized Allahbadia's lack of self-censorship, emphasizing the necessity for responsible speech in public forums.  

In response to the backlash, Allahbadia issued a public apology, acknowledging his lapse in judgment and stating, "My comment wasn't just inappropriate; it wasn't even funny. Comedy is not my forte. I'm just here to say sorry."

Despite the apology, the repercussions have been swift. The All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) has called for an immediate ban on India's Got Latent, condemning the content as offensive and a threat to societal values. Additionally, formal complaints have been filed against Allahbadia, host Samay Raina, and others involved in the show, alleging the use of abusive language and obscene remarks.
