Water Terrorism Exposed: Toxic Plot to Poison Delhi Water Supply

Delhi - In a shocking revelation, Delhi Chief Minister Atishi has accused the Haryana government of engaging in "water terrorism" by deliberately contaminating Delhi's water supply. She alleges that Haryana is releasing untreated sewage and industrial waste into the Yamuna River, causing ammonia levels to surge to over 7 parts per million (ppm)—a staggering 700% above the Delhi Jal Board's treatment capacity of 1 ppm. This contamination has led to a 15-20% reduction in water supply, affecting approximately 3.4 million residents.

Atishi has written to the Election Commission of India, urging intervention to prevent this deliberate sabotage from influencing the upcoming elections. She warns that such high ammonia levels pose severe health risks, including kidney damage and respiratory issues.

In response, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has dismissed these allegations, attributing the water quality issues to Delhi's mismanagement. He has threatened legal action against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for his remarks about "poison in Yamuna."
