One Nation One Election bill presented in Lok Sabha

New Delhi- The One Nation, one Election bill was presented in parliament on Tuesday according to the scheduled time. Union Law Minister Arjunram Meghwal presented this bill at noon in the Lok Sabha. After that, the opposition MPs opposed the bill in the discussion phase. Congress MP Manish Tiwari said the bill was against the basic structure of the constitution. Besides, Trinamool MP Kalyan Banerjee alleged that this policy is being unfairly introduced to protect the interests of one person. It is learned that the Center is ready to send the bill to the Joint Parliamentary Committee or JPC.

After the bill was tabled in the Lok Sabha, Congress MP Manish Tiwari came out against the bill. He said this method is against the basic idea of democracy. Besides, SP MP Dharmendra Yadav said that those who are not able to conduct assembly elections in 8 states together, talk about elections in the whole country together. After this, Trinamool MP Kalyan Banerjee targeted the BJP against this bill. He said in a stern tone, "Not the country, the real purpose of this bill is to protect the interests of this person." This bill is being brought unfairly to seek their benefits. Kalyan also alleged that the bill is against the basic structure of the constitution. Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi slammed the bill as a conspiracy to take away the constitution and people's right to vote.

Trinamool MP Abhishek Banerjee wrote a long post on social media on Tuesday morning. He said, the 'One Nation One Election' bill insults the foundation of democracy. Insults those who sacrificed so much to keep the Constitution alive. He clearly said, "Bengal will not sit quietly. We will fight hard to save the soul of the country and get rid of this anti-democratic attitude.''

Experts, however, feel that even if the One Country One Vote Bill is discussed before the end of the winter session, the government does not want to pass the bill with a majority. After being tabled in the Lok Sabha, it will be referred to a parliamentary committee to reach a consensus. But even before that, the opposition started moving.

However, the BJP government says that the opposition has nothing to oppose, so it is also opposing this reform. If one country is one vote, the cost will be reduced on the one hand, just as government work and project work will be done at a more transparent pace.
